Correct lifting postures should be adopted to minimise injuries. This entry conveys the message of working safely with manual lifting activities.

Target group:

Workplace Safety and Health professionals, workers and supervisors.

Subject matter:

Manual handling which includes lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying of goods can lead to increased risks of back injuries and stress placed on the various muscles if proper tools are not used or due to improper postures while lowering or lifting of goods. This entry aims to educate the importance of good manual handling habits.

Background:

The medium is one of the categories for submission to Safety@Work Creative Awards organised by WSH Council and ST Engineering.
