The Energia Segura campaign provides information to prevent accidents with electrical energy among workers in rural areas, civil construction, tree pruning and the community in general. In this playlist, you will find nine guidance videos on various activities with engineer Raul da Silva Claudino, from the Copel Occupational Safety Department.
Aims and objectives
Copel monitors electrical power accidents occurring in the community and has a permanent goal to reduce these occurrences. Our statistics show that workers in civil construction and rural activities are the groups most affected by this type of accident, followed by domestic workers and other activities. The Safe Energy campaign was created to guide all these groups in accident prevention. The video series was created during the Covid-19 pandemic to enable communications on the safe use of electricity to be maintained during the period of social distancing. Thanks to the good results obtained, the production of content continued and is still running. The videos were shown in online classroom programming and open TV channels of the Paraná State Education Network, shared in Whatsapp groups and on platforms of agricultural cooperatives, and shown in face-to-face lectures.
